What do you think would be the best music for this book? Would it be folk or some kind of old time-y rock? Or maybe some kind of Scottish bagpipe music? Any ideas?
The reasoning behind this post is that music could help to give people a better overall feel for the book.

Old men playing the fiddle on the rickty old front porches of the general stores and homes in Maycomb is what I hear--maybe guitars. In the black section of town beyond the town dump I hear gospel during the day while the people are working the fields and jazz/blues at night when they are trying to forget their miserable lives.
i think it should be birds singing their songs because the title has to do with a mockingbird
I can hear music in minor keys. They're haunting and the book maes you think about the racial injustices of the south.
I think it should be very classical and maybe some music from the time. This is just because the classical music would highlight the fundamental themes and points of the story.
it wouldn't be old time rock on the account rock music wasn't even around until the early 50s with elvis, and there still was never a wide variety of rock artists until the 60s with rolling stones,ZZ top, and many other artists, but since this book is in the setting of about 25 or so years before rock mucic came to full bloom, i dont think it is rock. it is definitely old fiddle music on someone's front porch
no deff not a piano! eww. I dont think their hauting and the book DOES NOT makes you think about racial injustices of the south.
