It's not time...

Every time Scout starts to worry about something, either Atticus or Jem says, "It's not time to worry yet." Jem says this when Scout worries about the fires, and Atticus says it on several occasions. It calms Scout down, and really shows how much she trusts her family. But I feel like it is foreshadowing maybe a time when they will have to worry...maybe the case her father is working on?

I'm sure it is. Atticus is obviously worried about what havoc this controversial trial will wreak upon his family and on his career.

I agree. I don't believe that we watched the Scottsboro trials for nothing. I think that it is about to get much worse.

I agree with you that it will probably come out in the book, maybe not in a case Atticus is working on but some kind of racial injustce.

Yeah. Atticus reminds me of my own dad. Even though they are about to go through some rough times and they all know it, he lets them know that they shouldn't worry, and that he will protect them.

I agree!! He doesn't want them to worry so he tells them everything will be ok.

o definitely agree i think that at some point in the story Atticus will tell them when in it's time to worry, and i think thats when the stymbolism of the mocking bird will come in. Because I beleive the mocking bird is a sign of symbolization

I think something will happen, but I think it will be mostly about Scout. I think a major even will happen to her that willl change her live afterwards.
